♢ Hoshisato Akari is a 16 year old high school girl who dreams of becoming an idol. After starting 10th grade at her new school - Riverstone Bridge Academy - she stumbles upon the perfect opportunity to create a school idol club with her childhood best friend Hashimoto Yuko.

♢ Akari's very enthusiastic and optimistic, always trying to help others stay positive in tough times, and overall a sweet girl. But, she's also a bit stubborn at times, not really knowing when it's the right time to simply let something go. Besides this, she can also be a bit emotionally dramatic.

♢ Akari first learnt about idols at the age of eight when, one night, she misclicked on some buttons on the remote control that redirected her to a live recording of a famous solo idol performing on stage. From that moment, she was starstruck and fell completely in love with the world of idols. 

♢ As she grew older, her interest in idols only deepened - to the point that she started slacking off at school - this made her dad feel troubled by his daughter's choice of priorities. Because of this, Akari seems to always be seeking her father's validation. Her mother though, was very supportive and had never felt the need to worry about Akari's future.

♢ Now in high school, Akari just wants to finish her education to finally live out her dream!
