♢ Inoue Layla is a 16 year old high school girl who never really cared for idols until she met the other StarDustDarlings! girls. After starting 10th grade at her new school - Riverstone Bridge Academy - she spends the first weeks alone, not used to making friends. It was until one day, four girls come up to her and ask her if she wants to be a part of a school idol club.

♢ Layla’s very shy and quiet, she doesn’t express herself very well but she’s very caring and thoughtful. Her lack of social experience though, makes her naïve and seem uninterested to those who don’t know her. 

♢ Inoue Layla was born into a prestigious and wealthy family, the middle child between her brothers. The Inoue household was one of structure and expectation, where success was not just encouraged, but required. Layla’s parents, always keen to outshine others in their social circle, ensured that from a young age, their children were involved in numerous activities designed to build their intellect and talents.

♢ Because of this, Layla never really had her freedom until she met the other girls, after meeting them, she began to express herself more and felt happier. 

♢ Ever since then, she’s had a desire to finally try new things, including being and idol and putting herself out there!
